The new quarter on the former Bayernkaserne site is characterized by metropolitan density in an orthogonal grid: MU 1(7) is a privileged special case - the volume, cut diagonally by the Magistrale, is located directly on the town square and gives it a setting and emphasis with a 60m high point. In addition to residential use, the building offers a social and cultural attraction with a library and a neighborhood meeting place as well as a center for the elderly and services. This is the task: a place as a home for hundreds of new residents of New Freimann and at the same time a host for the entire neighborhood.
