New development of a residential building
Dunckerstrasse 63, Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg

The building in Dunkerstrasse consists of a large number of different apartment types that are united by a meandering façade to create a sculptural building. In addition to standard maisonettes with two-storey entrances that follow the principle of unité d'habitation, there are broad single-storey apartments with terraces or garden access, as well as a penthouse with a view. The recessed, laterally open loggias integrate the building into the undeveloped plot without letting it disappear. The white plaster façade ensures the building does not compete with the preservation-listed school building.
